Ladies Auxiliary

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Marilla Fire Company was organized to provide support for the firefighters and their community.

The Ladies Auxiliary members have answered “the call” in order to provide refreshments at the scene for the firefighters.  Over the years, our firefighters have appreciated the cool drinks in the summer and the hot coffee on cold Buffalo nights.

Dispatch alerts Ladies Auxiliary members 24/7 of the need to respond to calls that require extended amounts of time. These often include structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and stand-bys during storms. The Ladies Auxiliary maintains a stock of food and supplies in order to provide immediate support to the firefighters. Firefighter training sessions and social events have also benefited from the efforts of the Ladies Auxiliary.

The Ladies Auxiliary hold many fundraising events to raise money to support the Marilla Fire Company. These funds are used to purchase food supplies, equipment and other essential tools for the fire department.
